Regular Meeting Notice

The Mercedes Independent School District Board of Trustees meets on the third Tuesday of each month at the Mercedes Early College Cafeteria, 950 W. 6th Street, Mercedes, Texas. Meetings begin at 6:00 PM. 

The meetings are live-streamed via a link that is posted on the District website.

Public Posting

The official meeting notice is publicly posted on the bulletin board at the main entrance of the district’s central office located at the administrative offices of the Mercedes Independent School District, 206 West 6th Street, Mercedes, Hidalgo County, Texas, at least seventy-two (72) hours in advance of the above-mentioned meeting, as required by Texas Government Code.

Though not required by law, the school district also posts its board meeting agendas on the district’s website as a community service. The posting of any notice of a Board meeting on the Mercedes I.S.D. website should not be considered as the official announcement for a meeting of the district’s Board of Trustees. The official notice of a Board meeting will be posted on the bulletin board at the main entrance of the district’s central office.
