MISSION STATEMENT

​The Mission of the MISD Curriculum and Instruction Department is to facilitate the teaching and learning process by committing to making decisions based on data, research and best practices, and focused on improving learning opportunities for all students.

District CBA's and District Checkpoints

  • Assessments are based on the taught curriculum as per the district's pacing guides

  • Assessments are developed to be administered in a class period (Exception - Writing)

  • Assessments should be scanned through Eduphoria for Grades K -12

  • Assessments should be distributed on the day of the testing to provide reliable data to inform instruction and address student's needs.
